Surgery Day Procedure

Owners must drop-off their pets at the times listed in the right-hand column.  We cannot admit pets dropped off after these times.  If your appointment confirmation email notes a different drop-off time, please ignore the time noted in that email.

  • Dogs must be on a leash.
  • Pet cats must be in individual, size-appropriate, hard plastic carriers.  (No soft bags, no wire dog crates; cats must have enough room to stand and turn around in carrier.)
  • Feral cats must be in a humane trap.

Pick-up will be on the same day as surgery, and confirmed on the morning on the appointment.  We do not keep pets overnight at our clinic!

You must reschedule your appointment if any of the following pertains to your pet:
  • Your pet is 4 months old or older and ate anything after 12AM.
  • Your pet is less than 4 months old and ate anything after 4AM.
  • Your pet is coughing, sneezing, vomiting or has diarrhea.
  • Your pet is currently recovering from an injury.

Please reschedule using our standard booking process: email and/or phone.

If your pet is placed on medication (excluding heartworm preventative) for any reason prior to their surgery date, you must contact the office to inform us, so that we can determine if the chosen surgery date can resume as planned, or should be rescheduled.
