Cuky, the little Shih Tzu, was suffering from both a uterine infection and pancreatitis, and urgently needed a spay surgery. Her mom Mayra recalls how Cuky: “started going downhill, and stopped eating and being active. She was really bad; no other vet would take her, and I am not financially stable to take her to a private vet or emergency. Thank god you guys answered, and took her right in that day.”
Our aid arrived just in time as Cuky’s mom told us: “There wasn’t much hope for her, but we didn’t give up. Everything went well but she was still not looking good. Thanks to the staff at the Hillside PFA for keeping an eye on her, she recovered slowly and steadily. And she is still here for more years to come to fill our family with joy and happiness. Thanks x infinity to People For Animals, you guys rock.”
