Koko is a little fighter who was rescued by her mom Darlene, after suffering an umbilical hernia.  After a prompt doctor’s visit, Koko was diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection.  With time running out, Darlene needed to find an affordable surgery option, and that’s when she turned to People For Animals. Our vet team quickly responded to Koko with the care she needed.

“The staff was so friendly. I was greeted with a big smile and so much empathy. They were so efficient!  They took their time to ensure that I understood the severity of the situation. I felt so taken care of and loved. And the surgeon called and checked up on us and that soothed us so much.  I can’t thank you guys enough.”
