Peggy the pittie was found on a Georgia road, after being hit by a car. Not only was she abandoned & suffering a broken jaw, but her leg was so wounded that it needed to be amputated. Waldo’s Rescue Pen gave her a life-saving second chance and brought her to New Jersey, where she met Brian, the papa who would give her a forever home! Peggy’s sweet personality has blossomed since being adopted and gaining a sister pup named Belle… but this family of three has had to face new financial challenges. When it was time for Peggy to be spayed, Brian could not afford the thousand-dollar costs that were put in front of him.
That’s when People For Animals came to his aid! Peggy was treated with safety, expertise and lots of TLC by our veterinarians.
And how is Peggy feeling now? Brian says: “She is doing really great. She recovered wonderfully from the surgery and was back to her energetic ‘hoppy’ self in a matter of days. I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful service and care you are providing.”
